Default New EpsonScan Software for the 4870 and 4990

Previous threads here nd elsewhere have discussed that "ICM"
functionality (under the "Configuration" dialog) of EpsonScan
software for the 4780 and 4990 scanners simply did not work - at all!
(Indeed, I am able to get color-accurate scans into Photoshop only if
I limit EpsonScan to sRGB.)

As was reported yesterday, Epson recently released v 3.03 of their
EpsonScan software for the 4870 and 4990. Has anyone installed and
tested the new version of EpsonScan for color-space issues and its
ability to properly tag a profile, and do so whether EpsonScan is
used in either stand-alone or Photoshop-plug-in mode?

Thank you,

Howard
