Default Multi Marquee.

Anyone aware of scanner software that offers Multi Marquee?

eg: I place 50 images on the platen,
the scanner will make 50 passes during 50 scanning operations.

It appears Epson Scan is the only software to offer this.
I tried Vuscan without successs.

Vuescan does have something called multi-crop but I haven't used it,
as I don't have a flatbed scanner. Maybe that will do what you want?

In silverfast you can also select multiple images from the glass at once.

Thanks Toni,
multi crop is cropping 1 image into smaller crops
Ugh!
I guess I'll try silverfast, I think they have a trial.
Cheers

If you use the "Professional" section of the Epson Scan software I
find it quite useable. I can't see scanning 12 slides and not being
able to choose each slide for a separate scan. With the Epson software
you can assign different properties to slides, I get slides from
multiple sources and each one often needs a least a curves adjustment.
I do my marquees by hand, the auto and home sections of the Epson
software is next to worthless, hand selection the scan is faster and
more accurate than Epson's auto choice.

Hi Tom,
I reckon the "Epson Scan" software is the bee's knees,
It has the multi marquee option (50 images max)
I employ my scanner for documentation only.

Looks like I am restricted to Epson scanners
to gain the software, albeit havn't tried silverfast as yet.

Silverfast does allow multi-marquees, but it is designed for scanning
photos and may not be the best choice for documents and/or text.

Thanks Karl,
Silverfast does offer a trial version, so I'll try that.
Rod.
