Benq Scanner install??

Anybody have any luck in installing a Benq 5000u usb scanner?? My
wife's computer just decided to re-install on startup and now nothing
works. Tried original drivers and new from net. All crap. ;-Deano

Double check the USB cable is pushed in FULLY into the scanner. Don't
connect thru an unpowered hub. Otherwise Uninstall then reinstall the
driver first for the scanner and if that fails then for the USB ports.
