Default Status monitor Epson 1270 manual shutdown.

How do I disable the status monitor for the Epson 1270.

I'm working off computer A and have it networked through a router to
computer B which has the 1270 printer.

Each time I print from A to the 1270, on B, the status monitor comes up
and says there is an error, and I have to close the STM manually this
goes through the M$oft reporting. - I have no problem printing.

I think its to do with the 1279 being on USB and its not being read
correctly.

What happened is that I installed the 1270 printer program in full on
computer A without thinking that it may have an error. Now I can't find
how to disable the STM on that computer.

BTW I do have an R1800 on computer A and allow computer B to print to
it, this has no STM problems and closes normally after computer B has
finished printing.

Its more that likely obvious but I can't find it

thanks

You may need to uninstall it. I believe on the 1270 the ink status
monitor is a separate program, and so you may be able to reinstall the
driver without the status monitor.

However, strange things have been known to happen when several printer
drivers are installed, so it is even possible that uninstalling the
driver and reinstalling it with the status monitor might fix the
problem. Then again, it might just break the 1800 driver...

I have seen some very odd interactions between Epson drivers over the
years...

Thanks Art

Yes it is two parts, wasn't thinking when it was installed. I can't find
where its been installed as its not in the add and remove programs.

Thought there maybe an easy way to "untick the box" type thing.
