Hi
I have 2 printers:Canon pixma iP4000 and Lexmark E-240 laser.I want to
share them using a 2-port usb/1-ethernet print server. Is there any
specific model that is guaranteed to work? Are there any compatibility
problems with some print servers?
There are 3 computers in my little home lan.

Someone-
I apologize for changing the topic slightly. I recently acquired a new
Apple Airport Extreme 802.11n wireless base station. It has three
Ethernet ports for the local network plus one for your internet
connection. It also has one USB-2 port that can be connected to a
separate hub for several devices. In addition to multiple USB printers,
you can connect USB hard drives. I currently have a 4 GB USB flash
memory stick connected to the USB port, and can access it as if it were
a hard drive from any computer on the network. Software was provided
for both Windows and Macintosh computers.
Of course this may be a more expensive approach than you would like, but
it appears to meet your needs. It would also provide an Ethernet
routing function as well as wireless access for visitors.
