Panasonic KX-MB71 all in one printer not connecting to computer

I recently purchases a Panasonic KXMB71 printer and it is not being
seen by Windows XP. I tested the cable and it is okay. Does anyone
have any suggestions..?

For starters.. are you sure you don't mean model# KX-MB271? Did you
install the driver cd before plugging in the usb cable? You need to explain
the steps you did to try to install it so we can determine if its correct
or to tell you another way to install it.

I have the ethernet model that has no USB. I did try printing before
installing the CD.
