Default Network Copier, Printer, Fax, Scanner

I am looking for suggestions on a network capable copier, scanner, fax unit.

Some of the units I've reviewed are:

Canon 2020i
Canon C5185

The features I am after:

Network based printing of approximately 600-700/pages/day

Must be PCL and/or Postscript capable for use with Linux as a printer

Network Color scanning with auto PDF creation would be a plus

Sorter

Duplex Printing for copier and printer

Fax with network fax sending, one line only.

Auto route fax's received via email would be a plus, but not required

The more compatible with Linux from scanning to printer to fax the better. I
will settle if it just will print from Linux via the network.

I am mostly looking at B/W output with color scanning capability, but would
consider units that had color printer/copier output as well. Color output would
be very limited maybe 50-100 pages/month period.

Ethernet 100Base TX for network printer, scanning, fax. Other connections are
not needed.

Multiple paper drawers to hold at least one letter, and 2 letter sized forms at
all times. Bypass for other sizes and/or envelopes.

I've looked at some Xerox WorkCentre units, and some Toshiba's as well, but the
Canon 2020i seems to really fit the bill.

Any thing else out there I should review????

Thanks in advance.

If the Canons have your needed features, go for it. They are terrific
machines. I currently use the lowly-of-lowliest models that only faxes and
prints over network, and it's awesome. Fastest scanner I've ever had with no
warm-up time at all. Same for printing, the first page is out in seconds
from standby mode. Great print quality, and document copies look better than
the originals. Canon sells products that act like they were designed by
folks who actually use them. The machine works for you, not the other way
around.

I have used and liked Canon printers for years. BUT, Canons change to
"chipped" ink tanks has forced me to change my preferences.
