I've never had this problem but I'd try plugging the USB cable directly
into the computer instead of through a hub, if that's where it is now.
All the lexmarks I've had have been finicky at times about how they are
conncected. Usually I could go back to the old connection after a day.
Also look for a bit of paper in in the tray 1 path. Their software is
rather dumb (or dumbed down) and throws up it's figurative hands when
everything isn't perfect.
