We have an HP 4250 and an HP 4350. They are connected up to a few
computers using Standard TCP/IP Ports.
On one of the computers, when the HP 4250 runs out of paper, the
Windows 2000 computers say that it's out of paper, like normal.
When the paper is refilled, the status messages on the computers
changes to "Ready". Except on one. It says that the printer is "Out of
Paper", even though the paper has been re-filled. Once the computer is
rebooted however, it goes back to "Ready".
We installed the HP 4350 first, using the HP 4250/4350/4240 PCL 5e
drivers,
version: 12/17/2004,60.42.263.21
Then we got the 4250, and installed the HP 4250/4350/4240 PCL 5e
drivers,
version: 02/13/2007,61.063.461.42
We have no problems on the other 7 computers it's setup on this way.
