Frustrated with my Epson cx7400, good alternative?

I have an all in one Epson cx7400. The problem is that I don't use the
printer every day and the heads clog like a mutha. I just wasted about
half a cart of ink on head cleaning and it is still banding and it is
leaving black bands across the paper. No point in wasting another $36 for
ink so I'll just get another printer but I do occasionally print transfers
so I need pigmented ink. On the other hand I've been reading positive
results with the new claria inks. Suggestions?

Canon makes a Pro9500 if you need pigmented ink. Canon printers are
more clog free than Epson but I am not speaking for their pigmented
printers. If you must have pigmented printers then I suggest you print
a test page every 10 days or so.

Stupid statement. You mean they clog less. But they will clog if you
don't print for an extended period of time. That is why Canon
incorporated two cleaning routines into their printers - regular and
deep cleaning.

I have never reached the extended period of time in 4 years because I
use Canon ink.

No just turn the printer on every few days.


Plus do not have the printer in a Hot room..
