I have a Epson Stylus Photo 895 and am considering a CIS setup for it.
The only one I've found for my printer is a 'Fotospeed' one from here
(in the U.K. - where I'm based):
Does anyone have experience of the Fotospeed CIS, or any comments to
make? Also, as it's getting oldish, is it worth bothering and spending
the money on the 895 - should I be looking at a later model printer?
Why make an investment in an old printer. Find a new printer with the
latest technology that will meet your needs and then consider a CIS if
your print load is that high.

Same Chinese made CIS that others are selling.
The question: is the 895 working fine for you? I have some rather old
Epson printers still working fine (with the occasional full cleaning,
I don't mean just the head cleaning from the computer). As old as the
1520 and 3000.
