Just bought a standard HP mono laser printer for general office use.
It's a network printer connected to the nearest router switch.
Only problem is, use any font that it doesn't understand and it substitutes.
I can't seem to find a way to force download soft fonts to the printer
either manually or automatically other than rasterizing the entire page.
This can only be done in some programs and the results are less than
satisfactory.
I've never had this problem before either with postscript or non-postcript
printers. This one is not postscript. The model is HP Laserjet 1505n (n =
network)
