Default Epson RX680 ?

I'm considering it for purchase.
I currently use an Epson R300.
May I have comments? Caveats?
Thanks in advance.
Be nice; I'm old.

You didn't say if you're running Windows or Mac. I just got this
printer for my new Mac, and have found it has a problem printing
envelopes. It cuts the text off the return address unless the return
address is moved at least an inch away from the edge.

This printer is also very particular about the type of photo paper it
likes. I tried printing photos onto Office Depot High Gloss Photo
paper and Kodak Ultra Premium Photo paper...both of which produced
horrible prints (color shifts...ink pooling).

Using Epson photo paper, the prints are beautiful!

Just my $0.02 worth.

A Mac. I ordered it last week from Epson and installed it on Friday.
Thanks for the info about its shortcomings; I don't do much printing of
envelopes or photos. :-) And I have some Epson paper, too. My lucky
week.
