A trivial problem but .....
I have an Epson R265. I prefer to switch on print preview (to stop me
printing 100s of pages when I only want 1 !!!). Up to recently, if I
ticked the print preview in the properties box it remembered became
default for all subsequent printings. Now, though, it switches off and I
have to tick the box every time I print - which is a pain. I don't think
I have changed anything but with computers you never know! I am using XP
(SP3) and usually print from Word 07 but this happens with all
applications. Any advice welcomed..

Start => Settings => Printers and Faxes, right click on your printer
and choose Printing PreferenecesSet the preview here, these are the
default settings for this printer.

Many thanks - that worked. I had no idea you could access the printer
dialogue box through Control Panel.
