Epson Class Action Settlement

Does anyone know when, if ever, Epson is going to be letting us all know
when we can use our settlement awards? I've got $135 coming to me and I
would like to use it before I get too old to remember I have it.

Good point. I see the deadline for submissions ended about 6 months ago so
we should be due for a response soon...

We were supposed to be getting our settlement payments this past fall. Some
legal wrangling has now put the payoff date in limbo. Most parties to the
suit (that's us consumers) will be contacted by email when the payments are
finally ready for us. I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything
about the case.

Apparently, some people have just begun to receive their notices. The
actual valid time for using the award is starting in June 20th of this
year and good for one year from the initial date (this is for the Epson
store ink cartridges). I don't know about the cash awards, but I would
think soon, as well.

Further to this, the website provides some infromation regarding the
cash settlements:

Settlement Update
(April 26, 2007)

The activation date for codes has been set for June 20, 2007. All
activation notices will be issued during the first weeks of May 2007.
Requests for additional activation notices are no longer available. For
class members who elected the alternate benefit of cash, checks will be
distributed before the end of May 2007.
