The standard convention would be "amount remaining." I wouldn't pay
much attention to it until it proves to be accurate for you. It's
always a good idea to have replacements available so your work is not
delayed.

That's self-contradictory.
If it's 32% remaining, then full would be 100% (remaining);
If it's 32% used, then full would be 0% (used)

On my 3800 the % goes up as the cartridge gets full. So there fore at
100% you change the cartridge. Clear enough for you.

My misunderstanding - I saw the word 'cartridge' so assumed that - like
all other cartridges - it started out in life in a full state. Seems this
one does not, it starts out empty. I wonder, then, if the term
'cartridge' is the most appropriate rather than 'tank' or 'reservoir'.
