D-Link DI-704UP print server/router with EPSON printer
I have a D-Link DI-704UP print server/router with with an EPSON C45/46
printer. It works fine except here is no status info eg in tank staus,
this is a known problem with most older USB printers. Does anyone know
of any current low range printers that work in both direstions with a
print server.

Hmmm,
When I was stumbling with DPR-1260 with new Canon Pixma MP530, D-link
support never acknowledged/replied to my two queries, vs. Canon at least
acknowledged/responded within a day. Anyhow I solved the problem myself
after couple nights head scratching.
Re: D-Link DI-704UP print server/router with EPSON printer
I'm guessing this is more a problem of the print server or router than
the printer involved. Wouldn't the router need a bidirectional pass
through to allow the ink status information to be passed between the
printer and the host computer/server

If you could, it might be helpful to others to explain what you were
able to do to resolve the problems.
