Default Compatible cli 8 catridge with chip?

Chipped compatible cli 8 catridge is now avilable? I searched on ebay
the other day and found one that is not remanufactored and the chip is
not reset. Does it mean that the chip resetter is going to get out of
the market?

Here is the cli 8 with new chip,
http://cgi.ebay.com.hk/ws/eBayISAPI....MESE:IT&ih=001.

Even if these are cartridges with brand new chips surely the printer
will write to the chip during use and
when it is "empty" it will still need to be reset before it can be used
again ?

As I see it the options at present are

1. Buy Canon OEM tanks - the measekite solution - only for those with no
brains

2. Buy remanufactured tanks with chips already reset - these are already
available in US and UK

3. Buy from commercial refiller who will reset chip - such as Cartridge
World in UK

4. Buy recently released resetter ( Redsetter ) and refill tanks at home.

All of these methods keep the Canon ink monitor working.
There are other methods involving moving the chips from tank to tank
but these lose the useful ink monitor function.
Mindful of Lou's advice that we should be " good stewards of our money "
and
knowing that measekite is no more than a " foolish virgin " I am now
looking closely
at the resetter option.

I would not even consider something like this. Canon has a patent on it.

That is the best alternative - to use Canon ink

Or for

You do not get the same quality fade resistant clog resistant results as
you do with Canon ink.

I don't know where in left field you came up with this ebay response, as you
left the original poster's message, deleted my message, even though you
appear to be responding to my reply. Please, signal if you are making a
turn.

Bottom line, the OP works for the company selling the product on Ebay. The
post is simply a sales ploy, spam if you wish to call it this.

Most of the aftermarket touts are nothing more than spam as most of those posters have some kind of connection with those lousy vendors.

Frank, you are responding to my post, even so it appears you are really
getting on my case for no apparent reason. If you are looking for a flame
job, I can provide that, if necessary. This is a printer ng, the original
OP was spamming by hawking his company's products and I responded
accordingly. Measekite responded with something about ebay, seemingly
missing the OP and the ebay seller connection. Now you come out of nowhere
with some diatribe.
