Default Canon pixma 1600 paper feed problems

One day I come to work and try to print something off my canon pixma
ip1600 and it starts pulling multiple sheets per print???? No, it
doesnt pull 3 at a time directly through, it starts pulling the first
sheet, about 10 or 15% of the feed goes through, then it starts
pulling the second sheet, about 5-10% after that it starts pulling the
third sheet. How would something like this happen?

I tried 2 cleaning techniques:

1. I bought canned air and sprayed air everywhere I could, trying to
clean dust off the rollers,
2. I tried the print properties maintenance options, bottom plate
cleaning, and roller cleaning, i actually ran the roller cleaning 3
times but no success...

Please help, i fear I'll have to buy a new printe but would like to
avoid that.

Thanks in advance.
