Just be wary before buying this printer that the ink is very expensive
and comes in small cartridges. They use a computer chip on the
cartridge so buying aftermarket ones is a pain. Great device buy
ongoing costs are very large.
Now since that is the case with all of the inkjet printers one should
not use an inkjet. So get a BW Laser and take your photos to a Lab.

Man, that's about the lamest suggestion I've ever read in any newsgroup!
There is always an alternative. I refill my printer's tiny cartridges
with non-OEM ink. I have 6 rotating cartridge sets on hand, it cost's me
peanuts and I can print entire phone books if I had to. Pop one set of
cartridges out, pop another set in. No one has to quit his/her inkjet
because OEM ink costs too much. Fortunately we live in a free market,
there is always an alternative to the high cost of manufacturer's inks.
If one can't suggest a reasonable alternative to a problem then you
shouldn't pretend to be offering help! Capisce?

Thats about the quality non OEM inks produce until they clog your heads.

What else would you expect from a brain dead moron like measher****head?
Frank
Actually, the MP800 uses standard CLI-8 tanks, which are not "small" by
today's standards, and compatible tanks are cheap. You simply need to move
the chip from a Canon tank to the compatible tank, which is fairly easy.
Either way, it's still one of the cheapest printers to operate there is.

Untrue!
An independant review of inkjet cartridges has shown that of the OEM's Canon
is the worst ink.
It showed that refilling is the way to go.

I have read reviews from trusted reviews on many cameras and came to the conclusion that their reviews cannot be trusted after reading reviews from many other sites on the same cameras.
