Have a Brother DCP-585CW printer at work and I'll be darned if I can
figure out how to print a page of business cards. I see nothing in
the page or print set up that will allow me to do that, and a link to
something on the web called the "Creative Center" which has a
"business solutions" page has no mention of such. I can print *one*
card, but can find nothing that lists or shows printing on business
card sheets. Any ideas?

Christopher-
Microsoft Word has templates for various layouts such as the sheet of
business cards. As I recall, they are listed by the Avery stock number
of the sheet. Unfortunately I was never able to figure out how to use
that feature!
I think you can also find information on how to do it, at the Avery web
site. Go to <http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/> and click on the
Templates & Software menu. One of the choices appears to be for "Avery
DesignPro" software that you can download.

Easier:
I printed very nice business cards using a template from
Microsoft. I don't recall whether this came with Word (2003) or
if I downloaded it from the Microsoft web site. I just
substituted my own text and changed the font/size to my own
liking and pasted in a logo. Worked great.

Just flowing these simple old steps.
1- Installing a business card printing program. You can buy it, downloading
it whatever you do to have the program
2. Buying pre-made business card sheet.
3. Setup the program to match the NUMBER of business card. Avery is a
popular label and most softwares support Avery product.
4. Type in whatever you want on the business card then hit the PRINT option
then you have it.

I have been doing business cards for years. I use WordPerfect. Version
12 right now. Used to use version 6 before Windows. I am sure Word has
the same capabilities. I use eith glossy photopaper or business card
stock. Prescored or I cut it myself. In WP there are sevral options to
avail of.
