Brother laser printers: 2070n or 5250DN
Time to get rid of the HP 1100 LaserJet. Nice printer, but not too
fast and no networking without a cumbersome print server.
I can get the 2070n at costco.com for $94 shipped.
I can get the 5250DN at Staples (refurbished, which I don't mind) for
$150.
The 2070n curls the paper a little, but it's not a big deal.
If the 5250dn doesn't curl, that would be a small gain.
I wonder if the 5250dn can print faster than the 2070n. Is it quieter/
noisier?
I know the 5250dn can print duplex - that's a nice feature, although I
don't see us using that an awful lot.
Any other factors/ideas/information?
TIA,
Scott
