Wow! It's a whole different ball game now. Good for customisation I guess.
i have used hiram's (spelling) boot disk a couple of times in the
past... unter troubleshooting, it has a program called
troubleshooter... you can't run the ram tests unless you strip out
that part of it (you can't have any memory resident programs to use
the ram part)... but it will test out the cpu, motherboard, hdd; you
can also set the duration and it will report on any errors that you
might get... great little cd to have, even if you just use
troubleshooter
