Default nVidia In Talks With AMD Over PhysX Technology Transfer

Back on June 26 TGDaily reported that PhysX runs on HD 3870:

Looks like that may have been intentional:

If the talks are successful, this may finally put a stop to the
chicken-and-egg cycle that has delayed wide PhysX adoption in games.
