I Think My GTX280 have problem

From like 3months while playing my Game (world of Warcraft) I got alot of Discounnect i know its Graphic problem But i thought if i download last update to my graphicCard problem will be fixed but still same ~ but after that .. last weeks see whats happen ..**i linked pic**

So i Just thought from heat .. i clean up little dust was around it .. n air come out was not hot .. but still have same problem .. so i thought i have like to formate my computer .. i formate it .. when i tryed Again still getting same problem .. so i wanna know b4 i go n get my self new grapgic Card cos last thing comes in my mind is "your GraphicCard is DEAD "
so i wish if anyone got any idea about this problem n how to solve it or even tell me if its really dead or still have chance on it ..

Hi.

Before buying a new video card I would try another one, even if it was of worse performance just to rule out any other components.
If you don't have another video card lying around you could perhaps borrow one from a friend.

If the issue remains with another known-good video card we'll have to look into other components.

Let me know how it works out.

i change grahpic card from my old computer ( was Geforce6600 ) its work fine at first
while trying my game ~ my computer screen just shutted down n CPU still working .. i dont know i think from my old Grahpic card cos on pc that i used this card has been shut from long time .. same problem CPU light works but no fans movin i think from powersplie or wires anyway i wish u understand my english cos im poor in english

Was it the monitor that went blank? Or did the computer shutdown... The part with fans not moving confuses me a little.

If the computer shut down we're facing a whole new problem which point toward the power supply.

1. What brand and wattage is your power supply?
2. Have you tried the other DVI port on your GTX280?
3. Put the GTX280 in another PC and see if you get the same problem.

no computer lights was On ~ just moniter gose blank ~ and about fans
its happen in my 2nd pc i dont know if its happen in this pc ~

That picture on the link is exatly the same effect i was getting when i had
a failing 7800GS AGP card. I had it warranty exchanged and it sorted the
problem.
