Default How to set default resolution on an 8400M GS

This Sony SZ6 series laptop uses a T7700 with 4GB RAM
and Vista Business SP2, and two video cards of which the
primary is an Nvidia 8400M GS. The laptop screen
resolution is 1280x800.

Too often, when the unit boots or even comes up from
standby, the video card will output a lower resolution.
I'm using a little script to get it back with a single
click, but it's an annoying problem.

Is there a way to get that card to stay at the correct
setting?

Thanks!
