Default Does GeForce 8300 support CUDA?

Motherboard Asus M3N78-PRO. "CUDA acceleration" option in CoreAVC codec
is greyed out. Is it a limitation of GeForce 8300 or the free version of
CoreAVC?

I don't think the 8300 supports CUDA.

There is a list here, for whatever it is worth.

http://www.nvidia.com/object/cuda_learn_products.html

And maybe something here will help.

There are multiple versions of CoreAVC? I thought there is only the Pro
version.

You are using Forceware drivers 182.05 or higher, right?

The display driver is part of nForce 15.26 driver.

I believe only the Pro version of CoreAVC supports CUDA. I am using the
free version (Codec 8.3L from free-codecs).
