on the same Nvdia adapter. its an 8600 card , new.
any idea why not ?
the selections on the windows XP screen resolution setting change.
btw the monitor does support 1152x864 in DVI . tried it on another PC.

Reinstall the *.inf files supplied with the monitor.
should i have the DVI monitor connected during reinstall or the VGA ?

weused the old drivers supplied with the card and problem went away.
Nvidia has a problem with the new drivers
