What is up with these Asus Nvidia EN 7300 GS video cards? The cooling fans
on these cards seem to be crappy and defective because they make a louder
noise than my fans on top of my dual Zeons. Anyone else has noisy video card
fans? How can you fix this noise?
The fan is likely loud by design. To fit in the space constraints of a
single-slot, low-profile card, the fan has to be small and spin at a high
speed. Your dual Xeons have more room to breathe, because Intel designed all
the form factor standards (ATX, BTX, mATX, etc.) to be CPU-centric.
