Matsonic MS9317E+(USB). I added two USB ports by plugging two cables onto pin sockets on the mother board, but the computer doesn't recognize them (the manual shows they are for this purpose). When I plug in a device a notice is popped up saying it has malfunctioned and the computer doesn't recognize it. The two built-in original ports function normally. (Windows XP SP3) Reason for trying to add more USB ports---I just wanted more available without having to use a hub. Has anyone ever encountered a similar problem?
