Default ecs g33t-m2

I have just built a new comp using the ecs g33t0me motherboard. I am getting power to the machine, and everything seems to be powering up except my monitor. I am plugging it directly into the motherboard, as the video card has not yet been installed and am getting nothing. The monitor works. I currently have it plugged into my old machine and it is working fine. Anyone have any clue what I could be doing wrong?
Thanks for the help in advance

Is the ATX12V 2x2 square power connector, connected to the motherboard ?
It sounds like your processor doesn't have power.
