Default Word - Document Map

Hello,

Does anyone know how document
mapping works in Word?

There are entries that seem to be
added to the document map list.

but some of them don't seem to
jive with the outline.

is there a method to remove entries
from the document map?

conversely, is there a way to add
entries to the document map.

I had thought that "bookmarks" would
do the trick.

but books marking seems to be an
different process from document
mapping.

thanks for any help.

Default Re: Word - Document Map

I have discovered that "formatting with the
page styles" can alter the document mapping.

by selecting the style "normal" or the style
"sub heading" to format the words in the
document,

I can manipulate the entries in the document
mapping.

HTH.
