Word 2000 Pro won't boot.

So, when I try to open up Word 2000 Professional, all I see is the small
"loading window", and then the whole system freezes and complains about
system resources being overloaded. I've tried reinstalling, uninstalling and
updating to service pack 3, but it hasn't solved the problem, oddly enough.

The system specs of the computer is:
Windows ME
128 Mb SDRAM
1 GHz Intel processor

Does anybody know of anything I could try? Thank you in advance.
