Default word 2000

Hi, does anyone know how to be able to transfer or rather copy Office 2000
with Word 2000 to another computer? I've tried everything and nothing works
perfect. I move my normal.dot to the same places in the new computer, and I
even copied my whole office directory and paste it on the other unit, but I
get an error message I have to click each time regarding the autoexe.bat
(which I can't fiind nowhere) and I get partial toolbars, etc. I need a
method that will put the same identical program in the other unit, since I've
about 300 macros built into my software that is part of my daily usage. The
regular toolbars are on both, but the new toolbars I created are not showing
in the other unit.

Any help greatly appreciated as I bought the new computer and can't use it
until I figure this out.

You can't copy or transfer the programs. You need to reinstall them from the
disks. I've seen many posts on how to transfer settings, etc. If you search
the archives of this group, I'm sure you'll find the steps you need to take.

Try a program similar to this
http://www.symantec.com/home_homeoff...r&pvid=ghost10

I would read all reviews before committing.
