What does error code 8024200D mean?

Trying to install Windows Vista Service Pack 1 and I get an error code:
8024200D.....is not letting me install this update...how can I fix this?

This is not an Office issue. Next time you should post this to the windowsupdate newsgroup where it will be more appropriate.

Anyway read the below

Error Code 0x8024200D is:
SUS_E_UH_NEEDANOTHERDOWNLOAD
The installer requires more data to be downloaded

You can do the manual download and install and use it on a single PC. When you download
the file save it in case you ever need it again.

Things to know before you download Windows Vista SP1

By getting the file through WU it has the advantage of recognising any problem area, the
download size is much smaller etc etc.

If you have already been offered the update and your only problem is as above, then by all
means manually download and install the file.
