What is ccCommon and why does word try to configure it on startup
For some reason I keep getting a message that word cannot find or configure
"ccCommon" as ot trys tp open. However, after I hit cancel several times word
finally opens. Not a show stopper but it is annoying and there seems to be no
help at Microsoft for this problem.

Re: What is ccCommon and why does word try to configure it on startup
Its nothing to do with MS, its part of Norton/Symantec anti virus products.
If you had Norton/Symantec installed/activated you would be getting a
Symantec warning msg, since you apparently are getting no warning it is
possible the uninstall procedure for this product failed. There are
instruction on Symantec site for manual removal
