Default Upgraded to Office 2007 has broken Clip Art Organiser

I have upgraded from Office 2003 to 2007 and now I can’t search Clip Art. It
searcher for a second and then shows blank. When I open the organizer
directly and go to view clip art I get a Microsoft error (which I keep
sending to MS):
AppName: mstore.exe AppVer: 11.0.6551.0 AppStamp:42448607
ModName: mstores.dll ModVer: 11.0.6551.0 ModStamp:42448625
fDebug: 0 Offset: 00040b00

I have reinstalled Office 2007, XP SP2 and have emptied my IE6 cache. Any
ideas?

Thanks
Paul

Might try compacting your Organizer. Open the Organizer from start, Microsoft
Office Tools, Microsoft Clip Organizer. When the Organizer opens, tools,
compact.
If that does not help, your Organizer maybe corrupt.

Create a new mstore10.mgc file. It is a folder similar to this: (Hidden)
c:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Clip Organizer

Rename mstore10.mgc to mstore10.old

A new catalog will be created. You will lose all your custom keywords for clips
you may have added. You also will have to re-add clips.

Thanks Mary,

I renamed msstore10.mgc but this did not help.
I decided to go the whole hog and rename my profile to OLDprofile and
recreated a new one at next logon. This worked. The upgrade must have broken
my profile for some unknown reason.

Cheers
Paul

Glad to hear all is well. I will have to remember your post, never occurred to
me a broken profile would cause the Organizer problem.

Office 2007 broke my Clip Gallery, I never have been able to get it working
again.
