Unable to open an uploaded .docx file

When we are downloading the uploaded document from the database, it gives the
following message, instead of openinng it directly.

The office Open XML file test[1].docx cannot be opened because there are
problems with the contents. - with a OK and details button.

When I click OK, it gives the following message.

Word found unreable content test.docs. Do you want to recover the contents
of this documents. If you trust the source of this document, click Yes. with
yes, no buttons.

When I click yes, it opens the document with a different name, otherwise,
usually, it will open with the name test[1].docx.

What is the solution to open the document directly. It does work well with
office 2003 documents.
