Default Typography in Office

I design a lot of Powerpoint presentations, and create newletters etc. The
sad thing is that Office wont let me use advanced typography features lite
(true) small caps, ligatures, swashes etc. This is a serious problem for me.
I would hate to have to buy a mac just to be able to use features like this.

I have been thinking of a possible workaroud:
If there is a windows application that will let me use the above features I
could write/design the text there.
If I would copy paste the designed text into Powerpoint and Word, would it
keep the glyphs?
