Suddenly my HP 2550L stopped printing documents from MS Publish (Office 2000
Small Business version). I was on the help line to HP for over an hour and
was finally told that it was an applications problem, not a printer problem.
My instinct would be to try to un-install Publish and re-install it, but I'm
a 66 year old with only modest computer skills and rather timid when trying
something without some instruction. The MS Publish came with MS Office Suite
2000 and I don't want to screw up any of the other applications. I did go to
the HP diagnostic help and it told me that my printer is fine -- correct
driver, enough memory, etc. If anyone has had this problem and learned how to
fix it, I would certainly be very grateful for any help. Thank you.

Hello Saluki,
Publisher has no printer issues. If you could print before from your printer,
then it is a driver failure.
HP has an Universal driver on their web site with an April 2007 timestamp. You
might see if it will solve your problem. http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport...5&swEnvOID=228
It is always wise to completely uninstall the printer driver before
installing/reinstalling.
