Default Trouble install Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007

I just purchased a new Sony VAIO laptop which had a pre-installed Trial
version of the Microsoft Office 2007 Home Student.

I had previousely purchased a copy of Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 and I
wanted to install that copy. I received the following error message; "Setup
is unable to proceed due to the following error(s):
The 2007 Microsoft Office system does not support upgrading from a prelease
version of the 2007 Microsoft Office system. You must first uninstall any
prerelease versions of the 2007 Microsoft Office system products and
associated technologies.
Correct this issue(s) listed above and re-run setup."

I uninstalled the Trial version of the software and tried to install my copy
but I still receive the same error message.

What can I do to get around this error message and install my legal license
copy of the software?
