Tables

I've got a table in word 2003 that I want to begin half way down a page and
then automatically continue onto page 2 without having to split the table. As
soon as its full on the first half page the whole table jumps to the top of
page2. Any ideas, I've tried to click wrap on tables and keep with next on
paragraph?

Place your cursor in the table row that jumps and them select Table >
Table Properties. On the Row tab, is "Allow row to break across pages"
unchecked? If so, check it and click OK. Does that solve your issue?

Your table is jumping, because the one or more of the paragraphs in the table
text, or one of the paragraphs following the table, have the properties "keep
with next", or "keep lines together" set. (Format menu >paragraph >Paragraph
dialog box, Line & page breaks tab, Pagination section)

The earlier post that spoke of turning off the table row property, "allow
row to break across page" is also helpful. This keeps the row at the page
break from having text on the bottom of the first page, and also at the top
of the second page.
