I downloaded Office Home and Student. Now my browser any many of my other
programs freeze up. I didn't have this problem until I loaded office. Is
there a way to fix this?
By download I assume you mean installed from cd?
Youve run Office update?
You've checked the system Event Viewer?
Its more likely to be a windows problem

As DL has said. It is probably a problem with your Windows install. It was most likely already there and the install of Office has brought to the forefront

Thanks for responding.
Yes, I did do all the updates and everything checks out ok.
I'm running Windows XP Home edition (service pack 2). I have all my updates
on it too. Is there something else I can do?

Did you ever find a solution because I am having exactly the same problem
issues with "freeze ups or hang ups" using the new 2007 Office Home and
Student.

Thanks very much for any thoughts!
