Default Stolen Office 2007

We purchased a three seat upgrade of Office Professional 2007 and put one on
a laptop, which was stolen from the office. Is there a way to reclaim that
seat so as to install on another pc, or have we lost the use of that seat

A 3 seat upgrade, I presumed that they already had the 5.

I've spoken to M$ regarding the issue few weeks ago. Can't be done legally.
