SPELL CHECK Not working

I'm using Outlook Express 6 with no office installed on the machine.WHile
sending mail thru OE spell checker is not working can anyone suggest afix to
it ASAP...

Machine has win2k professional installed

Install Office, any version 97 through 2003 inclusive. Install Office
Proofing Tools. Google "Proofing Tools" and "Spell Checker". Numerous free
options are available.

some restrictions on installing Office..can this feature be enabled without
installation..

You have to install something, as Outlook Express 6 does not include its own
spell checker. Microsoft finally figured out, with Vista and Windows Mail,
that not all users would necessarily have Office. That is why Windows Mail
(Vista replacement for OE) includes its own spell checkers, as does Windows
Live Mail, free email client for XP SP3 and higher. Google "free spell
checker". Numerous alternatives are available on the web.
