Hi Gordon,
Yes, I had it highlighted. I have been working with Word for many years,
but within the last few months have switched to Office 2007. Sometimes it is
almost like starting over again.

I have to say that I can sort lists in Word 2007, so I'm afraid I can't come
up with any reason why yours won't...

They are separated by a new line. I just have a list of fragrances ie:
Balsam Fir
Holly and Ivy
Whisper
Christmas Memories
Roasted Chestnut Praline
etc.
