Default Retail vs. OEM

My trial version of "Office" is about to expire. I went out and bought
"Office Home and Student, 2007." I don't know if I should remove the trial
version (Microsoft Office) before installing the retail. I tried installing
the retail and it didn't ask for a key or anything. I thought it might tell
me to un-install what's already on my computer but it didn't. I need some
advice please.

Uninstall both versions, trial and retail, then reboot and install your purchased version.

I did what you said. When I started the install it asked for the 'Key'. I
typed it in several times & each time I was told that the key is incorrect.
I have 2 computers and I successfully installed this retail product on my
first computer. On the back of the retail box it says "Licensed for 3 PC's".
So, I've removed the OEM version and I can't install the retail without this
KEY problem. How do I resolve this?
