I have Microsoft Office Student edition 2007. I used the 3 installs on my
different computers. Well my laptop crashed last week and I am having a new
motherboard put in, so I will need to reinstall Office. Will I need to
obtain a new key so I will have full function?
No, normally if you are installing on the same PC activation should succeed.
However if activation fails (through the internet) you should be able to do a
manual (telephone) activation and tell the support professional that you have
reinstalled Office and they would be happy to give you the code needed for
activation.

But... if it's the same model motherboard... why are you having to reinstall
Office? Generally, you would need to reinstall only if it were your HD that
crashed. I would expect your files to be pretty much where you left them.
You might experience activation issues, however, if the hardware hash
changes. If it's a different motherboard, there could be other issues, too,
since the drivers needed for some MB components will likely have changed.
