Removing Office 2003 Trial before installing Office 2007?

Hi, I have several questions that I hope someone can answer.

1. I have a new computer that I upgraded to Vista Business and have never
tried the Office 2003 trial. Should I remove it before installing Office
2007?

2. I have a full version of Office 2003 Small Business Edition on a laptop
that I am going to let my wife use as I move to the new laptop. The version
I purchased for my new laptop is Office 2007 Small Business Edition UPGRADE,
and it has Microsoft Works 8.5 that I have never opened. Will the UPGRADE
version of Office accept the Works version even if I have never opened it?
And can I uninstall the Works version after I install the Office 2007 UPGRADE?

1. you can but not neccessary
2. IIRC inserting the previous verion's media is just fine.
