Default REMOVAL Office 2003

I have installed and been running without incident Office Pro 07. It is time
to remove Office Pro 03 which has been running in tandem. I don't need it
and would like to free up the space. The problem is that I cannot uninstall
it. I had to repair/patch it to get any function out of 07. I thought the
two ran seperately. Now the major issue is that I keep getting a Windows
Installer pop-up stating that something is trying to install. Even with all
swtiches off having anything to do with Windows Installler I still get the
message. Virus and spyware scans show no issues. This is so annoying and is
killing productivity. System Restores and Registry cleaning/reinstalling
don'ty fix it either. Never had this problem before until I monkeyed with
trying to get rid of Office 03. I just want to get rid of 2003 all together
since 2007 has the legacy switch. I can't be the only one having uninstall
problems can I?

Good question. No it doesn't. I get a message indicating files in use
and/or cannot uninstall at this time.
